Monday Motivation: “I Trust Myself to Figure It Out.”

lotsofshoes

Decide it’s time.

Time for:
:: that heart centered dream
:: taking chances
:: an end to self sabotage
:: & heaps of trust fueled by love

I feel like every successful person who’s ever made their dreams a reality had a specific turning point. This turning point was when they finally decided to STOP denying the reality of what called to their heart and embrace the truth around how they most desired to spend their time on earth.

No one, of course, is saying this is particularly easy.  Rearranging may need to be done: babysitters called, alarm clocks set for dawn, part time jobs to fuel a full time passion, compromise will surely become your wing woman and patience your bedfellow.

But it will be worth it.

I would like to empower you with a mantra that has personally helped me cross many emotional mountains and stormy seas:

“I trust myself to figure it out.”  Twitter_logo_blue

Even if you don’t first believe it and your ego is screaming that you’re weak & useless—say it.  It’s the principal that matters and if you repeat it consistently the message will eventually make the invisible journey from your head to your heart.  It will be magic and with every cell in your body you will believe it.

I don’t know what you might have planned for the week approaching but I’m suggesting that today is good as any
to decide it’s time to take responsibility for your dreams—because you can.

Go courageously & I hope this post serves you.

  1. I just found your site – Thank you for this inspiring post, Danielle.
    You are spot on when you say that even if we don’t believe it, we will if we keep saying it. Words are powerful, both positive and negative ones, so let’s choose the positive, life affirming ones.

    My alarm will be set for an earlier time tomorrow, so that I can get a head start on chasing my dreams.
